this site is kind of like a container for things that don't really belong anywhere else.
This site will gradually grow, as I add pictures and other media. In time, it will be interactive too, and may have a forum also.
I've been telling people for a while now that freedom is largely a state of being independant and able to do things for oneself. The ability to cook for oneself,
to provide
for oneself are things that give a sense of freedom. The more we depend on others for our needs, the less free we are. I strongly believe this. Of course, in this
modern world of ours, we can't be expected to be able to do absolutely everything.
There is a need for a balance between self-reliance and dependance on others.
Most of us, however, sell ourselves short in our abilities, which is why so many people in the world continue to make giant multinational corporations richer
by buying trivial things from them. Bottom line?
I'm not saying grow your own wheat necessarily, but once in a while, try to bake for yourself!
